Information we collect

Depending on the form you use, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, address or city, organization, relationship to a young adult, general age range, emergency contact details, interests, goals, schedule or transportation needs, volunteer availability, experience, accessibility or participation needs and other information you voluntarily provide.

The public membership application does not collect Social Security numbers, medical records, insurance policy details, pickup PINs or passcodes, or payment-card or bank information. If an application moves forward, information needed for safe participation, emergency planning, or payment will be requested separately through an appropriate onboarding process.

Our public forms are not intended for medical records, Social Security numbers, financial account information, government identification numbers, or other highly sensitive documents. Please do not submit that information.

How we use information

• Respond to family, young-adult, employer, partner, volunteer, membership or event-registration inquiries.
• Understand requested supports, interests, availability and community needs.
• Coordinate possible programs, events, referrals, employment connections, volunteer opportunities and follow-up.
• Maintain internal records, improve our services and support responsible organizational planning.
• Meet applicable legal, safety, governance and recordkeeping responsibilities.

How information may be shared

Kidd Camp does not sell personal information. Access is limited to authorized people who need the information for legitimate Kidd Camp work. We may share limited information with a community resource, service provider, employer, or partner when you request or permit a connection, when it is reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, or when disclosure is required by law or necessary to address a serious safety concern.

Storage, security and retention

Website inquiries are stored in access-controlled systems. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to reduce unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

We retain inquiry information only as long as reasonably needed for follow-up, program planning, organizational records, legal obligations, or a continuing relationship. Information that is no longer needed may be deleted or de-identified.

Young people and family inquiries

The website is designed for adults, including young adults, parents, caregivers, professionals, employers and volunteers. A parent or caregiver may provide limited information when requesting support for a transition-age young person. The site is not intended for children to submit personal information independently.

Your choices

You may ask what information you submitted, request a correction, withdraw permission for future contact, or request deletion when Kidd Camp is not required to retain the record. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

External services and links

The website may link to third-party services, including donation, document, or registration providers. Their privacy and security practices are governed by their own policies. Review those policies before submitting information on an external service.
